Promote Partnerships:
In the interest of achieving sustainable growth and simultaneously delivering the highest convenience as well as widest range to customers in the LCV market, Nissan recognises the importance of strategic partnerships. It has therefore entered into OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) arrangements with Renault Trucks, Mazda, Isuzu and Mitsubishi Motors. It has entered into dealer network agreements with Volvo Trucks in Europe and is also committed to develop hybrid technology for the vehicles of the future with ZF. In announcing its plan to enter the US market in 2010, Nissan also announced that Cummins is to be a strategic partner for that venture, providing engines for the new line-up that will cater to that important market.
